A new data set corresponding to geographic information on the presence and distribution of protected wildlife species in the geographical area of ​​the Principality of Asturias has been added to SITPA-IDEAS.

The cartographic compilation of the presence and distribution information offers all the locations included in the documents and official studies carried out or commissioned by the administration in order to know the situation of the species in the Principality of Asturias. The representation of the information is done through a 5 km² hexagonal mesh that includes all those locations existing in the entire time line of the available studies.
