The urban-forest Interface Zone Map has been incorporated into the SITPA-IDEAS platform.
The map shows the fire risk in the urban-forest interface of Asturias. More specifically, it incorporates a geographic information layer that locates urban-forest interface areas (zones where buildings come into contact with forest land) according to current regulations (Resolution of September 3, 2024, on the use of fire, BOPA 185 of September 23, 2024) and quantifies their forest fire risk based on their intrinsic hazard and vulnerability characteristics.
