A new web map tile service (WMTS) has been published for use as a base map, which includes the Topographical Base of the Principality of Asturias at a scale of 1:5,000 (BTAst05), on a digital shaded model of the terrain and hypsometry. The original data source for obtaining the different layers of topographic information has been the Topographic Map of the Principality of Asturias at a scale of 1:5,000 (MTA05).
The map tile service has been generated in the ETRS89 UTM reference coordinate system in zone 30 extended for the Principality of Asturias (Tile Matrix Set EPSG:25830).
